Please read this before you pay your deposit. When you check the box and pay the deposit, you are entering a binding agreement with Fast Lane Detailing Solutions ("we", "us") to receive detailing services and to pay for them in full.
1. Services
We provide mobile auto detailing at the location you give us, within our service area. The package, vehicle size, add-ons, travel fee and price shown when you book are the agreed scope and price. We will tell you before we start if your vehicle needs work beyond what you booked, and you can approve or decline that additional work.
2. If your vehicle needs more work than you booked
The price you book is based on the condition you describe when you book it. Sometimes we arrive and the vehicle needs more work than that booking accounted for. Heavy pet hair, heavy soiling, spills and set-in stains are the usual ones. That work takes real extra time, and every appointment is booked into a set time slot on a tight schedule. Time spent over on one vehicle comes directly out of the next customer's appointment.
So we do not quietly absorb it, and we never surprise you with it on the final invoice. Here is exactly what happens instead:
- Your detailer stops and photographs the condition before doing any extra work.
- Those photos go to our dispatcher, not straight to you. Dispatch decides whether the extra work is genuinely necessary. That is deliberate. The person doing the work is not the person who decides whether you should spend more, which keeps anyone from talking you into an upgrade you do not need. If dispatch decides the package you already booked covers it, you hear nothing from us and we carry on.
- If dispatch agrees the vehicle needs more, we contact you, explain what we found, and give you the exact added cost before anyone starts on it.
- You decide.
You are never forced to upgrade. If you decline, that is completely fine. No penalty, no argument. We will perform the package you booked at the price you booked, and you will not be charged a cent more than what you agreed to.
What we will not do is perform the extra work for free. If you decline the upgrade, the areas that needed it may not come out the way they would have with it. That is the expected outcome of declining, not a defect in our work, and it is not grounds for a refund or a chargeback. Your detail will still be finished to the standard of the package you paid for.
If we cannot reach you for approval in time, we complete the package you booked as normal and note on your invoice what we found.
3. Deposit (non-refundable)
A $25 deposit confirms your appointment and takes that time slot off our calendar. The deposit is non-refundable. It is applied to your final balance when the job is completed.
If you cancel, the deposit is not returned. It is earned by and paid to the detailer as compensation for the reserved time and the work already turned away for that slot. This applies whether you cancel a week out, the night before, or at the door.
4. Rescheduling
You can reschedule and keep your deposit. Give us at least 24 hours notice and we will move you to the next available slot at no charge. Rescheduling is not cancelling, and your deposit follows you to the new date.
If we cancel or move your appointment (weather, equipment, illness), your deposit is fully refundable at your choice, or we reschedule you with no penalty.
5. Your agreement to pay
By booking, you are agreeing to receive services from us and to pay the full price of the detail. When the job is marked complete you will receive a final invoice. Payment of that invoice in full is due on receipt. The $25 deposit is credited against it.
You agree to pay promptly and in good faith. Booking a job with no intention of paying, or refusing payment after the work is performed, is theft of services under Texas Penal Code § 31.04.
6. Late payment, interest and collection costs
If your final invoice is more than 48 hours past due, the unpaid balance begins accruing interest at the maximum rate permitted by Texas law, which is currently 1.5% per month (18% per year), until it is paid in full.
You also agree to pay all costs we incur collecting it, including reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, and any third-party collection agency fees.
Total late charges are capped at 50% of your invoice total. That is the whole invoice: the detail, any upgrades, the travel fee and tax. On a $250 invoice the most that can ever be added is $125, no matter how long it goes unpaid or what it costs us to collect. You will never owe more than your invoice plus half of it again.
A payment that is returned, declined, reversed or charged back is subject to a $35 returned-payment fee in addition to the amount owed.
7. Card authorization
When you provide a payment card for your deposit, you authorize Fast Lane Detailing Solutions to charge that same card for the final balance of the completed job if the invoice is not paid within 48 hours of being issued. You may pay by another method before then to avoid this.
8. Disputes and chargebacks
If you are unhappy with the work, tell us within 24 hours of completion by call, text or email so we can inspect it and make it right. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
You agree not to initiate a card chargeback for services that were performed. Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us first is a breach of this agreement, and you remain responsible for the amount owed plus the returned-payment fee and collection costs in Section 6.
9. Access, readiness and safety
You agree to provide safe, legal access to the vehicle and a parking space we can work around. We bring our own water and power. Please remove personal items, valuables and trash before we arrive. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
We may decline or stop a job, and keep the deposit, if the site is unsafe, the vehicle is inaccessible, nobody is available to release the vehicle to us, or the condition of the vehicle was materially misrepresented at booking. If a vehicle is far worse than described, we will quote the corrected price before continuing and you may approve it or decline.
10. Service area and travel fees
We serve Kennedale, Fort Worth and the Mid-Cities. Locations past our free radius carry a travel fee, which is always shown to you before you book.
11. Condition of the vehicle and limits
We use reasonable care. Detailing is cleaning and paint correction, not repair. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, prior bodywork or repaint, failing clear coat, rust, worn or brittle trim, aftermarket parts, or cosmetic imperfections that were already there and became visible once the vehicle was clean. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
12. Photos
We photograph and video our work. You agree we may use images of your vehicle to show our work. Tell us before we start if you would rather we did not, and we will not. We never publish license plates, addresses or your personal information.
13. Communications consent
You agree to receive text messages and phone calls from us about your appointment: confirmations, deposit links, reminders, service-day coordination and your invoice. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of texts does not cancel your obligation to pay for services performed.
14. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be brought in the state courts of Tarrant County, Texas, and you consent to that venue. If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest of it stays in force.
15. Contact
